Happy New Year - GPlus 90 millions, Facebook 800 millions

Happy New Year of 2013

Now Google plus has reached around 90 millions users and in Cambodia we have 31,354 users but facebook is now reached over 800 millions users. Google Plus needs to take further competition on facebook. Wish him a success with this great social network tool in 2013.

And our page also reach more than 3000 page view with more than +90 on Google plus page.
We hope to reach more people and we will be back to work on our blog more often as well.

Google is on top but not Google Plus for 2011

Accordingly to alexa, Google.com is still a top worldwide visited website over facebook which is in 2nd rank and yahoo, 4th rank and according to recent research tracking unique monthly visitors per month by Nielsen, statistic in United States.

A Nielsen study shows Google is the top digital U.S. web company, with more than 150 million visitors each month. The search giant’s nascent social network Google+, however, is not to credit for the majority of that traffic.

In the report shows Google+ in 8th rank among all other social networks and blogs with only 8,207 Avg Number of Unique Visitors per month, comparing to facebook, 1st rank 137,644 visitors.

If we look back to Nielsen's report of June 2010, facebook got 127,011 visitors comparing to 2011 average visitors per month, facebook growth not much than 2010. This could be a good sign for other social networks such as Google+ to build the population in 2012 in my opinion.

In Cambodia, Alexa shows that facebook is still a popular access website even comparing to Google.
And the SocialBakers statistic also show a big growth of facebook users in Cambodia if compare to 2010.

Our social networking statistics show that Facebook penetration in Cambodia is 3.04% compared to the country's population and 575.85% in relation to number of Internet users. The total number of FB users in Cambodia is reaching 449160 and grew by more than 119480 in the last 6 months.
